Board of Adjustment Reaffirms Sign Approval After Relocation

Zoning Board · Meeting of July 7, 2026

NH CANTERBURY — Board of Adjustment unanimously approves relocated illuminated sign for West Road property. The board reaffirmed prior approvals granted in June 2025 for a 20-foot internally illuminated sign at GRJH, Inc.'s property after Eversource required relocation from the east to the west side due to power line proximity. Attorney John Arnold argued the relocation required no new relief from the board, as the prior legal findings remained unchanged.

Abutters Harold French and Heather Cassavaugh voiced support, with French requesting the sign's illumination be turned off during closed business hours.
