Board approves Abberton Road subdivision creating three distinct lots

Planning Board · Meeting of August 12, 2026

NH CANTERBURY — Planning Board approves Abberton Road subdivision with conditions. The board unanimously approved a subdivision creating three lots from 22 Abberton Road with lot line adjustments to adjoining properties. Lot 28-0 will retain 43 acres with the existing house; Lot 28-1 will have 71.3 acres on Baptist Hill Road; Lot 28-2 will have 61.99 acres on Shaker and Abberton Roads.

Applicants Johnathan Crowdes of Hoyle Tanner received waivers for full wetland delineation; the board conditioned approval on plan corrections, addition of the wetland scientist's stamp, and buildable-area delineation on the new lots. The board continued a site plan review hearing for a homeschool enrichment program to August 25.
