Board accepts $2,000 emergency management grant with matching town funds

NH CANTERBURY — Canterbury Select Board unanimously approves emergency management grant for local operations plan. Chair Scott Doherty and Selectmen Beth Blair and Calvin Todd approved a $2,000 Emergency Management Performance Grant for the Local Emergency Operations Plan update, committing a matching $2,000 in town funds. The board approved manifests for accounts payable and payroll and received reports from Police Chief Justin Crotty noting 303 calls for service and 35 citations this month.
Town Administrator Ken Folsom reported that Unitil increased on-bill financing for the municipal Affinity Lighting Project from $11,000 to $22,000, reducing the town's required contribution from $32,000 to $22,000.
