Historic District approves restoration of three Shaker Village buildings

NH CANTERBURY — Canterbury Historic District Commission unanimously approves three major Shaker Village restoration projects. Chair Kevin Bragg and the commission approved Meeting House window restoration, Horse Barn roof replacement with Alaskan yellow cedar, and Bee House renovation funded by a donor. Erin Hammerstedt presented applications for 288 Shaker Road; all three approvals waived public hearings.
The commission is fielding guidance requests from the Board of Selectmen on message board and Land Acknowledgement signage specifications.
