Agricultural Commission chair position opens as Stevens resigns

NH CANTERBURY — Canterbury Agricultural Commission leadership changes as chair vacancy opens. Mark Stevens resigned as chair during the April 21 meeting but will remain a member of the five-person commission, which will now seek a new chair. Jill McCullough was confirmed as liaison to the Canterbury Farmers Market.
Members noted they were not consulted on recent Class VI road development changes under RSA 674:41 or a new cluster development ordinance, both affecting agricultural operations, and identified expanding their consulting role as a priority agenda item.
