NH CANTERBURY — Historic District Commission approves residential modifications and partial library heating upgrade. At the September 16 meeting, the commission unanimously approved applications from Thomas Perlet for a 26-by-63-inch window replacement at 11 Kimball Pond Road and from Vanessa Crofton for white aluminum gutters at 2 Baptist Road. The commission also approved four of five proposed mini-split HVAC units at Elkins Public Library to replace inoperable heating equipment.
Member Ted West objected to placement of the fifth unit near the Children's Room, positioned against the parking lot, leading the board to continue that decision to September 23 at 6 p.m.
