NH CANTERBURY — Canterbury Conservation Commission unanimously appoints Michael Capone as a new alternate member. Chair Kelly Short will submit the appointment recommendation to the Board of Selectmen. The Commission also proposed revisions to the town's wetlands ordinance, recommending removal of size requirements for vernal pool setbacks, with setbacks of 25 feet for land-disturbing activity and 15 feet for new structures near wetlands over 2,000 square feet.

Vice Chair Audra Klumb and Treasurer Bob Steenson scheduled a follow-up meeting with town staff to discuss wetlands ordinance enforcement.
