NH CANTERBURY — Canterbury Agricultural Commission backed Tricentennial Committee's carriage house proposal at the library parking lot. Commission members, including Jill McCullough and Mark Stevens, agreed to support the 16-by-50-foot structure and help gather community support for a warrant article. The building, a reproduction of a historic shed destroyed in a fire, would provide sheltered space for town functions and activities without requiring town funding; organizers plan to fundraise.
The Commission also confirmed 2027 meetings for the third Tuesday of each month at 6 p.m., approved Mission Statement and Bylaws for website posting, and committed to a $500 budget request.
